3 minute timer

Start the 5 second timer:
  • after the last word of the question is read.

Start the 30 second timer:
  • after the quizzer who responded is recognized.
  • after a time-out has been granted.
  • after a Judges' Ruling has been granted (JBQ only).

Start the 1 minute timer:
  • after a match ends in a tie before reading the overtime question(s).
  • when allowing the other team to respond to a contest (TBQ only).

Start the 3 minute timer:
  • when granting a team a contest (TBQ only).

(Note: when you start one timer, the other timers are automatically reset.)
