Kentucky Team Results Tie-Breakers
In the event two or more teams end in a tie, the following tests are used to break the tie:
2 Teams
3 or more Teams
Please note that the Tie Breakers above are the actual ones used for the meet. The Stat program utilizes preprogrammed Tie Breakers as a help in the program. The order on the printouts is for communication of information and may not reflect actual end result due to different Tie Breakers that may be in use.

- Head-to-Head Record (current group play)
- Total Points (current group play)
- Team Points, Head-to-Head (current group play)
- Total Points, minus Quiz-Out bonuses (current group play)
- Total Points for the entire Meet (including qualifying rounds)
3 or more Teams
- Total Points (current group play)
- Head-to-Head Record (current group play)
- Team Points, Head-to-Head (current group play)
- Team Points, Head-to-Head, minus Quiz-Out bonuses (current group play)
- Total Points, minus Quiz-Out bonuses (current group play)
- Total Points for the entire Meet (including qualifying rounds)
